Tech Talk: Enhancing Security and Accessibility on Apple Devices

Join us for a Tech Talk on enhancing the security and accessibility of Apple devices, tailored for the Stanford community.

This session will provide an overview of key security features, including an introduction to Jamf for compliance, security protocols, and other functions designed to protect personal data, like Apple's Safety Check.

The talk will also cover essential accessibility features for your Apple devices. Highlights include advanced dictation capabilities on the Mac, such as auto-punctuation and vocabulary additions, and the Spoken Content feature for reading text aloud. Attendees will explore visual adjustments like color inversion to aid visibility and other accessibility tools that make Apple devices more user-friendly.

This discussion aims to equip attendees with the knowledge to maximize their Apple devices' usability and security.
